Katelynn had her first swim meet in October. They just do it by heats they don't compare times between all the heats. Katelynn is the shortest and the youngest in her group. And she is very competitive so I have no idea where she finished out overall but they did a great job putting people together by skill level. Butterfly- 1st place
Breast Stroke- 1st Place
Free Style- 2nd Place

Just a little note that everything really is a blessing. Before the meet started someone puked in the pool! GROSS and it takes 45 mins for them to clean it out and to put chemicals in the pool and let them set there for 30 mins before anyone is allowed to jump in! So what was supposed to start at 7 started at 745. WELL do you know who gets home at 745 that night that's right Gary. He didn't miss one race! Katelynn loved having here Dad there and Gary enjoyed seeing how much she has grown in such a short time! (so if at every race someone could puke that would be great for us!)
