8 Months

Our baby turns 8 months tomorrow! So sad... He is growing up way to fast!

Dallin last week he finally got teeth! He had 4 teeth come in within a two day period, and still one about to pop out. Poor little boy is not very happy.

Dallin still normally wakes up once a night, but due to teething it has been a lot more!

Dallin loves baby fruit! Vegetables not so much. The only veggie I can get him to eat is sweet potato and he is not a big fan of the the baby food dinners.

Dallin really is just a happy baby. He is so fun!

Dallin rolls everywhere and his starting to figure out crawling.

He loves his toys and plays with everything.

And eats everything!

Such a sweet boy we have!

More Aiden!

Sunday afternoon. Aiden comes into my room so mad at me.

Aiden: "MOM!" (in his mean voice)
Mom: "What Aiden."
Aiden:" Why don't you ever let me fall down the stairs!"

A Pause (wasn't sure exactly what to say.)

Mom: "Because I love you!"
Aiden: "It's just right there, I won't get hurt!"
Mom:"Aiden you can't fall down the stairs!"

A very annoyed little boy walked away.

This morning

Mom: "Did you brush your teeth?"
Aiden: "I don't have to."
Mom: "did you already do it?"
Aiden: "Last night I brushed my teeth 4 times so I don't have to brush them for 2 days...."
Mom: ????

CARPE DIEM

I kept seeing a link on facebook with the comment so good a must read for all mothers. I kept opening it attempting to read, but being interpreted by one if not all of my children. Being to tired even think by the time they are all in bed. So today I finally opened it and read it. The blog literally would take less then 5 mins to read minus kids. This short 5min post ended up taking probably about 10 mins and while I was reading it so determined to finish it! In this short 10 mins.

1. Maylee was standing on me having me shove blocks into a ball with a hole.
2. I look up and Aiden is holding Dallin UPSIDE down.
3. Katleynn is laying on top of Aiden
4. Aiden is covering Dallin up with a blanket (face included)
6. Dallin ends up rolling into the entertainment center and now will have a nice mark tomorrow..

Read the post.

I love my "job" getting to stay home is a true blessings. I had to work while Katelynn and Aiden were babies and I am truly grateful to be able to stay home now. I hate to complain because I know plenty of women would love to be able to stay home with their kids. So I almost /make that I do feel guilty to ever say today was hard today was bad. But today was, does not mean I should throw the towel in, it means I wake up tomorrow work twice as hard and pray for a better day!!

The kids got a BIG gift that took a LOT of time to put together. A few days before Christmas we took the kids over my sisters house to play and we could get to work.

So many pieces I was a little nervous.
I got back from taking the kids to my sisters house and found the base up and ready to go! Gary was able to put that part together by himself with in a hour. This took away my fear just knew it was going to be a long day!!

1 hour
The saucer did not take much time, but the stupid HORSE that is still on the porch is what took for ever. Gary and I both hated by the time we got it hung up!

2 hours

YIPPEE the horse is up!!

3hours

The next hour we were able to get quite a bit done, including a trip to HomeDepot to get new bolts in order to put Dallin's baby swing up instead of the regular swing.

4 hours

5 hours
Now that it was completed and the kids were back home. Keeping the kids out of the backyard a whole another story! All the blinds were down all day and I even suck a extra blanket over the sliding glass door. Just to make sure. And if the kids went near the back of the house I would yell, "to cold to go outside." Poor kids. But Christmas morning after Church

so worth it!

For New Years we had a few friends over and a total of 12 kids from 2-13 years old were out there and it survived! The kids have been outside so much and love it!

Awards Ceremony

A new school means trying to figure everything out including how everyone grades. Every three weeks Katelynn gets a progress report that they test them in all the fields and send them the grades home. The first one she brought home all A's the second one I noticed a B in geometry part of Math. When Gary got home, I told him to email the teacher and find out what we could do to get that grade up. Then Gary brought it to my attention everything is 5 questions! 5 questions! You miss one you have a B!! What do I even tell Katelynn? All the grading is like that. It makes it really hard for to get Straight As and really I do not even know how to figure it out. I was hoping it was just this year this teacher, but I found out at the award ceremony this past week that is how is all the way through school here at their school..... GREAT! Luckily the rest of her grades were high enough in Math to pull the one B up to A. So she was able to get a Straight A's award and also award on her attendance(she missed one day).

Now for Aiden! All of the School district use the same report card for kindergarteners so they can't get Straight A, so instead if you knew all your ABC (sounds, lower case, upper letter) and could count to a 100. He was able to get that award and also one for perfect attendance! I would have to say the perfect attendance is the one I am most surprised about. If anyone around us gets sick Aiden usually gets it! So how this year that boy has stayed healthy is beyond my knowledge. But he loves school and even more loves playgroup that comes after!

I had pictures but they are on my phone and have no idea how to download them yet.... Maybe I will have the pose holding their awards or something!

Another Brown Christmas

My immediate family had a get together at our house. It was tons of fun everyone except for one of the brother-in-laws were able to make it. So we were able to snag a few pictures!

All the Grandkids!
We lined all the kids up by age down the stairs. In my head this was so cute, but it is really hard seeing the above kids. But we have Gavin 9, Paige 7, Katelynn 7, Casen 6, Faith 5, Aiden 5, Jace 4, Nicholas 4, Masen 3, Maylee 2, Chloe 2, William 1, Lydia 9months, and Dallin 7months.
Then everyone except for Kaden who was not able to make it.

Family

I promise the last one. I thought the kids needed a lot of out takes. My sister gave us hard copies at our Christmas party, but I wanted to download them on here so I asked her to send them to me. So she just send them all my way, so I could see them. And I have to admit, it's ME who took up the most outtakes: my eye were closed, my hair in my face, watching one of kids, my mouth opened, turned the wrong way, you name it, it was me!! Not my kids!!

I know GROSS!! But this pictures took the longest the kids kept watching us, Gary and I were laughing so hard.

I liked that we were able to get the Temple in the back of this photo.
Look at Maylee's mouth!
This is one of my favorites
