Gary and I are boring so I thought I will just throw these two together. Plus weekend is over and Monday starts life once again.
Gary- Is enjoying both of his teaching jobs! We feel very blessed that he has two jobs that he enjoys when there are a lot of people unemployed at this time. The last Saturday in June was asked to be the Elder's Quorum President due to everyone's vacation between his counselors he wanted to call and the stake presidency being out of town he wasn't actually called until the 2nd Sunday in August! It was so hard to keep it a secret that long! A few times we would be talking to someone had it would almost slip and we would have to change the subject. He is still getting used to it, but he is enjoying it. He is working with great counselors and they are just figuring everything out. And wishing they could be has cool as the Relief Society Presidency! :P He is learning a lot and enjoying it. Other then his crazy schedule he is doing well!
Me-Is doing better! I feel like I finally have a hold on mother-hood of four kids. It is not as over-whelming has it was. Since Dallin started eating baby food he takes two naps a day which is great it helps me get some work done around the house. Also the two older kids being at school for the half the day probably helps also! I have enjoyed being able to walk the kids to school every day. I am looking forward to it cooling down a little bit!! Still training for a half marathon in December and my never ending struggle with loosing weight!! I am serving has the 2nd counselor in the Relief Society Presidency(now you get the above joke.) The Relief Society President Patti is amazing friend and has taught me so much. She is such a great example and person. She always calls and checks on us and leaves treats on her door. The other day we came home to a treat at the door step. And Maylee said" Patti mom Patti!" I had to laugh so sweet. The ladies in our congregation are all amazing and I really do learn so much from each of them. So how is it with Gary in the Elders and me in RS? It is actually really nice! Sometimes Gary will hear about something and he can relay to me and I can share with RS presidency. And other times I will share some news with Gary. We do have to make sure we do not teach or conduct on the same months due to Dallin still being a baby. And someone is always willing to hold our plump little man!
Gary and I have been switching off with my sister on dates! That means every other Friday we get a date!! IT IS AMAZING!! I LOVE IT!! Really it is so nice to get to spend some time together.
