The True Meaning of Christmas

On Christmas Eve we celebrated Jesus birthday! We started the night out with a turkey dinner! YUM YUM

Maylee agreed with me she loved the turkey, stuffing and mac n cheese she was such a happy girl!

Birth of Chirst!

Before the pictures and story began. This is the first year for us reenacting the birth of our Savior. We were hoping that it would help the kids better understand the true meaning of Christmas! So it being the first year our costumes are pathetic!

Starring: Katelynn as Mary, Gary as Joseph, Aiden, as a Shepard, Maylee as the Angel, Me as the Wiseman, and one of Katelynn dolls as Jesus.



The answer to the question if our kids now understand The Birth of Jesus Christ.

After the performance a few questions were asked:

Mom:" Who was Jesus Mommy?"

Aiden -" Katelynn!"

A tradion we started when Katelynn was a baby is letting the kids make their own cake for Jesus.

I am not sure if Aiden put more frosting on his cake or on him or even in him!

We also gave spritual gifts this year. Just different things that we are going to do to draw us nearer to our Lord. Such a wonderful time of the year to celebrate the Birth of Jesus.
