1st day of school!!

This is how the day began.

6am- Aiden comes down the stairs

Aiden- "MOM I can't go to sleep because no one tucked me in!"

Mom-"Aiden its morning you already slept."

Aiden- "No I only been up there for two minutes!"

Mom-" You fell asleep while Daddy was reading the story."

He went back to bed for like 30 min. then came down and said "Now its morning!" :P

The kids were actually really excited about going to school and did not change as we walked up there. They unlocked the gate very quickly I walked Katelynn to her teacher gave her a kiss and said bye. And then walked away holding back the tears and did not look back! Then I went over to Aiden class I could tell he was a little nervous, but once he started playing he was all good!

The day went slow for me, I was so excited to hear about their day! Aiden was also gone all day also. A few mothers and I are taking turns keeping the Kindergartner's until the other kids get out.

They both had a great day!! YIPPEE!! They loved it!

Katelynn got to be the Star Student in her class and set in a red cushion seat! She was super excited to go back on Day 2 and is excited for tomorrow she is taking some reading test to see what level she is on! She really is just loving it. She has came home both days telling me everything she has learned! She even made some friends!!!!!!!!!!!

Aiden came home. I asked what did you learn. Aiden replied, " I forgot!' BOYS! Today when he came I asked him again what did you learn he said, "something!" That is it something! He thinks it is so cool that he has homework! And Aiden knows half of his class since they all go to church with him. So he is loving it!
